Position Overview
The Commercial Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, tenant relations, budgeting, vendor management, and lease administration for a portfolio of commercial properties. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing commercial assets with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage the operations and financial performance of a portfolio of commercial properties.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
+ Prepare and manage annual budgets, monthly financial reports, and variance analyses.
+ Oversee rent collection, accounts receivable, and lease compliance.
+ Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
+ Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party vendors (landscaping, janitorial, HVAC, etc.).
+ Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including safety and environmental standards.
+ Collaborate with leasing teams to support tenant retention and leasing activities.
+ Maintain accurate property records, lease files, and documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field (preferred).
+ 3–5+ years of experience in commercial property management.
+ Knowledge of building systems, lease administration, and financial reporting.
+ Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
+ Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, MRI, or similar systems preferred).
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
+ Real Estate License (preferred or required depending on state regulations).
