In this role, you'll play an essential role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the organization's impactful mission.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Process and record a high volume of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions.

    + Assist with reconciling bank statements and managing cash flow reports.

    + Perform data entry and ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information in the accounting system.

    + Organize, prepare, and file key financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and payment records.

    + Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries.

    + Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently and professionally.

    + Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed.

    Requirements

    + 1-2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; nonprofit industry knowledge preferred.

    + High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is a plus.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar systems).

    + Ability to work with precision and ensure accurate financial reporting.

    + Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work collaboratively across departments.

    + Familiarity with nonprofit financial practices, including compliance with grants or donor-restricted funds, is a plus.
