Description

We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our fast-paced team in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in accounts payable processes within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring experience in high-volume AP operations and a strong understanding of three-way matching.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice receipt, coding, and payment processing.

• Perform three-way matching for invoices, purchase orders, and receipts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Process high volumes of vendor invoices while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

• Resolve discrepancies in invoices or payments by collaborating with vendors and internal departments.

• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to streamline AP operations and maintain accurate records.

• Support the transition to new accounting systems and ensure data integrity during the process.

• Prepare and execute ACH payments, checks, and wire transfers in accordance with company policies.

• Assist with auditing and reconciliation tasks to verify accurate financial reporting.

• Maintain strong vendor relationships and handle inquiries professionally and promptly.

• Collaborate with the AP Manager and team members to ensure seamless workflow and process improvement.

Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist, preferably in a manufacturing or telecommunications industry.

• Proficiency in three-way matching and handling high-volume AP operations.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software, with SAP experience highly desirable.

• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve invoice discrepancies independently.

• Knowledge of ACH payments, wire transfers, and other payment methods.

• Business casual attire and ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, in an office environment.
