    Robert Half is partnering with a premier commercial real estate firm that manages a high-value portfolio of office, retail, and industrial assets. Known for their innovative approach and commitment to operational excellence, our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Commercial Property Manager to lead property operations, mentor junior staff, and drive value across a multi-site portfolio.

    Position Summary

    The Senior Commercial Property Manager will oversee a complex portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring optimal performance, tenant satisfaction, and asset value. This strategic role requires a high level of autonomy, leadership, and expertise in financial and operational management. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in commercial real estate, strong team management skills, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to ownership groups and stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead and manage a portfolio of Class A/B commercial properties, ensuring efficient operations, profitability, and compliance.

    + Supervise and mentor a team of property managers, assistant managers, and administrative staff.

    + Partner with ownership and asset management teams to develop and execute long-term property strategies.

    + Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, including monthly variance analysis and capital planning.

    + Negotiate and manage service contracts, ensuring vendor performance meets property standards and budget constraints.

    + Maintain strong tenant relationships, oversee lease compliance, and coordinate lease renewals, expansions, and terminations.

    + Direct building operations, maintenance, capital improvements, and sustainability initiatives.

    + Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and risk management protocols.

    + Evaluate property performance metrics and recommend improvements to drive value and reduce costs.

    + Represent the company in owner meetings, tenant negotiations, and industry events as needed.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field (required); CPM or RPA designation preferred.

    + 7+ years of progressive experience in commercial property management, including supervisory responsibility.

    + Proven expertise managing a diverse portfolio of commercial assets (office, retail, or industrial).

    + Advanced knowledge of lease administration, budgeting, and CAM reconciliations.

    + Proficiency in property management systems such as Yardi, MRI, or equivalent.

    + Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong financial acumen and the ability to interpret and act on complex financial data.

    + State Real Estate License (required or must be obtained shortly after hire, depending on location).
