Description We are looking for a Branch/Retail Banking Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for customer service and banking operations, as you will be instrumental in managing customer accounts, processing transactions, and supporting day-to-day branch activities. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic banking environment while building your skills.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service related to account maintenance and banking products.

• Process deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions efficiently and accurately.

• Assist with opening new accounts and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

• Perform checks on account balances and reconcile discrepancies as needed.

• Support mortgage loan origination and escrow processing tasks.

• Conduct investigations into potential fraud and adhere to standard operating procedures.

• Manage cash activity within the branch, maintaining security and accuracy.

• Process payments and ensure timely completion of financial transactions.

• Collaborate with team members to improve branch operations and customer satisfaction. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail banking or a similar role.

• Proficiency in banking software and data processing systems.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.

• Familiarity with check processing, bank deposits, and account reconciliation.

• Knowledge of banking products and services.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Understanding of standard operating procedures in a banking setting.
