Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. In this role, you will manage financial transactions, ensure accuracy in accounting records, and support the organization’s financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with expertise in accounting systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.

• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain consistency and accuracy in financial records.

• Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are correctly recorded.

• Assist with month-end close procedures, including financial reporting and reconciliations.

• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to oversee financial operations.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations in all accounting practices.

• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data to maintain accurate records. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong understanding of general ledger management and journal entries.

• Proficiency in bank reconciliations and month-end close procedures.

• Advanced knowledge of accounting software, including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in financial records.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
