Description We are looking for an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Supervisor to oversee and enhance the operations of our A/R department. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, ensure financial accuracy, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization. Based in Tustin, California, this role requires a hands-on leader who can collaborate across departments to streamline processes and drive results.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the daily activities of the Accounts Receivable department, including billing, collections, and cash applications.
• Ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and payments.
• Oversee credit policies and monitor aging reports to mitigate risk and improve collections.
• Address and resolve billing disputes while maintaining clear and effective communication with customers.
• Maintain accurate customer account records and oversee account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and accounting teams to improve workflows and strengthen cross-departmental coordination.
• Provide leadership, training, and performance evaluations for A/R staff to foster growth and efficiency.
• Generate and analyze monthly accounts receivable reports and present findings to management.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance department performance. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of A/R processes, credit management, and collections practices.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Experience working in the distribution or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English are a plus.
