    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Henderson. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring healthcare providers meet all necessary credentialing requirements, adhering to federal, state, and regional standards. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in computer systems, and a solid understanding of medical terminology.

    Responsibilities:

    + Oversee the credentialing process by gathering, reviewing, and processing applications in compliance with regulatory requirements.

    + Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of physicians’ credentials in the credentialing database.

    + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regional guidelines throughout the credentialing process.

    + Utilize tools such as Adobe Acrobat, CRM, and EHR systems to manage records and applications efficiently.

    + Conduct audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of credentialing information.

    + Collaborate with healthcare providers and institutions to resolve discrepancies or missing documentation.

    + Manage Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) profiles and ensure timely updates.

    + Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in credentialing processes.

    + Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to credentialing.

    Requirements

    + Proven experience in credentialing, with familiarity in physician credentialing processes.

    + Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat, CRM systems, and EHR platforms.

    + Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare compliance standards such as Hospital Privileging

    + Experience working with credentialing databases and CAQH profiles.

    + Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) designation is preferred.

    + Ability to conduct thorough audits and resolve discrepancies effectively.

    + Strong communication skills to liaise with healthcare providers and institutions.
