Our client, a rapidly growing company in the biotech industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join their team.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide administrative support to the HR team across various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance.

    + Coordinate and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, including scheduling interviews and managing job postings.

    + Assist in onboarding new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and payroll set-up is accurate.

    + Maintain employee records in the HRIS system and ensure compliance with data privacy policies.

    + Support benefits administration, including enrollment, claims resolution, and employee inquiries.

    + Assist with employee engagement initiatives such as training programs, wellness activities, and recognition events.

    + Prepare reports and presentations related to HR metrics, policies, and projects.

    + Provide guidance to employees on basic HR-related queries and escalate complex issues as needed.

    + Stay up to date with federal, state, and local employment laws to ensure compliance across HR practices.

    Requirements

    + 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or human resources role; experience in the biotech, healthcare, or pharma industries is a plus.

    + Knowledge of basic HR functions and procedures (e.g., employment laws, recruitment, and benefits).

    + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with strong attention to detail.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday or SAP is preferred.

    + High level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.

    + Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
