Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a well-established company in the West side of Indy area. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the organization’s financial health by overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable process. This includes processing a high volume of invoices, reconciling vendor statements, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner, and preparing accurate payment runs. You’ll also collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure proper approval workflows and compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounts payable processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

Requirements:

+ 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

+ Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (experience with automation tools is a plus).

+ Strong understanding of invoice processing, payment terms, and reconciliation procedures.

+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

+ Solid communication and interpersonal skills to resolve vendor inquiries and collaborate with internal teams.

+ Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities.

+ Familiarity with accounts payable best practices and compliance standards.
