Description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Frankfort, Illinois. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to manage billing operations and support system implementation efforts within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing and accounting, coupled with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process outstanding service tickets and work orders to ensure accurate billing.

• Prepare and issue invoices for commercial services, including maintenance and quoted work orders.

• Collaborate with relevant teams to confirm service completion and resolve any discrepancies.

• Maintain meticulous billing records and ensure documentation is up-to-date.

• Provide assistance in transitioning business entities to a new operating system, including feedback on billing workflows.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline billing operations.

• Support training efforts for staff on the new system, ensuring smooth adoption.

• Contribute to testing and documentation related to system implementation.

The salary range for this position is $23/hr to $25/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or accounting, preferably in construction, service, or related industries.

• Proficiency in accounting and billing software systems, with familiarity in computerized billing.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to resolve issues effectively.

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a contract-based role.

• Experience with D365 or similar systems is highly desirable.
