Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team in Del Mar, California. In this role, you will oversee key financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning. This position will require a strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment with financial goals and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans by collaborating with department leaders, such as Sales, Product, and Engineering.
• Design and maintain detailed financial models to track revenue growth, headcount planning, operating expenses, and consolidated financial reporting.
• Produce and present management reports, board presentations, and investor updates that include SaaS metrics, actionable insights, and key recommendations.
• Analyze variances between actual financial results and forecasts, providing clear explanations of drivers and trends.
• Partner with the Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Enhance and implement FP& A tools, dashboards, and workflows to improve scalability and drive process automation.
• Support strategic initiatives such as pricing strategies, capital planning, and scenario modeling to inform business decisions. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP& A or corporate finance, preferably within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
• Expertise in creating financial models and conducting data analysis using advanced Excel functions.
• Proficiency with financial software systems, such as NetSuite, and familiarity with business intelligence tools like Domo.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present financial insights to stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of financial processes and systems, including the ability to integrate data from multiple sources into financial models.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong business acumen.
