Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner in the manufacturing industry, located in North Charleston, South Carolina. As a Production Planner, your main function would be to establish and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and maintain inventory levels. You will actively collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth operations and high quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Establishing the Master Production Schedule for individual projects and updating them as per changing demand and inventory requirements.

• Collaborating closely with production, quality, and manufacturing engineering teams to continuously enhance planning and scheduling processes.

• Analyzing inventory levels and needs regularly, making necessary adjustments to the production schedules.

• Initiating and updating production schedules to align with changing demand and inventory needs.

• Coordinating customer ship dates with Project Managers and Management when required.

• Alerting relevant team members about potential production capacity constraints.

• Participating actively in weekly production and scheduling meetings.

• Assisting in the release of production orders in SAP as required.

• Ensuring accurate SAP transactions and conducting scheduled audits routinely.

• Creating material master data, BOM & Routings in SAP.

• Adhering to and maintaining safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality.

• Undertaking other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Crystal Reports usage experience is essential.

• Familiarity with About Time software is needed.

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is required.

• Auditing skills are expected.

• Claim Administration experience is essential.

• Strong Communication skills are required.

• Proficiency in SAP is necessary.
