Description We are in the process of adding a Tax Manager - Public to our team. This role falls within the realm of public accounting and tax, and the selected candidate will be expected to manage complex tax engagements and handle a diverse portfolio of clients. The Tax Manager will also provide strategic tax planning and compliance services, and play an integral role in mentoring and leading internal team members for their detail-oriented development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic tax planning and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients

• Take charge of complex tax engagements, ensuring they are handled with precision and efficiency

• Provide leadership and mentorship to internal team members, fostering their detail-oriented development

• Support the maintenance of strong client relationships, contributing to client satisfaction and retention

• Monitor and manage all aspects of client tax accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws

• Identify opportunities for growth and contribute to the overall success of the firm

• Stay updated with ever-changing tax laws and regulations, and guide clients accordingly

• Utilize skills in Annual Income Tax Provision, Compliance, Entity Formation, Tax - Corporate, Tax - Partnership, Tax - Trust & Estate to perform tasks efficiently

• Foster a culture of trust and innovation within the team. Requirements • Role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar position

• Proficiency in Annual Income Tax Provision is essential

• Solid understanding and experience with Compliance is required

• Expertise in Entity Formation is a mandatory requirement

• Must have a strong background in Tax

• Demonstrated experience in Tax - Corporate is necessary

• Prior experience with Tax - Partnership is required

• Knowledge and experience in Tax - Trust & Estate is essential
