    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper or Full-Charge Bookkeeper with experience in non-profit or construction industries to join our client's dynamic team. If you have a strong background in bookkeeping, proficiency with QuickBooks, and enjoy a fast-paced work environment, this is the opportunity for you! While an associate degree is preferred, hands-on experience in accounting and bookkeeping will also be considered.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.

    + Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts.

    + Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.

    + Collaborate closely with leadership to ensure accurate budget forecasting and expense tracking.

    + Manage financial compliance and assist with audits when applicable.

    + Process invoices and manage vendor relationships.

    + Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including sales and payroll taxes.

    + Provide strategic recommendations based on financial data analysis.

    + Perform ad-hoc duties as needed to support smooth financial operations.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + 3+ years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience; non-profit or construction industry experience is strongly preferred.

    + Proficiency with QuickBooks is required; familiarity with other ERP/accounting systems is a plus.

    + Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.

    + Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and general financial procedures.

    + Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

    + Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas).

    + Effective communication skills to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
