We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our healthcare organization in Dalton, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting for multiple entities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment while collaborating across teams to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and record accurate journal entries in compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards.

• Conduct thorough account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Reconcile bank accounts monthly across multiple entities, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.

• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are adequately supported and reconcilable.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial system implementations, including testing and optimization.

• Generate insightful financial reports and analyses to assist management in decision-making.

• Assist with month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting tasks.

• Maintain compliance with accounting regulations and company policies to uphold financial integrity.

• Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting, preferably within a multi-entity environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Workday, is highly desirable.

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with team members and management.

• Ability to analyze financial data and present findings in a clear and precise manner.

• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close processes.

• Knowledge or experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
