Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Production Scheduler/Planner to join our team in Terrell, Texas. In this role, you will coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and maintaining efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain production schedules for customer orders, internal projects, rework tasks, and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with department managers to ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing overtime and maximizing efficiency.
• Communicate with customer service teams to provide updates on order status, expediting requests, deferrals, and cancellations.
• Collaborate with managers to assess the need for additional personnel or equipment to support production goals.
• Actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving processes, workflows, product quality, and organizational efficiency.
• Conduct company audits to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
• Prepare and present performance and status reports to management as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in production scheduling or planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in production scheduling systems, such as Epicor ERP.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of production orders and workflows.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across departments and with customers.
• Proven ability to drive continuous process improvements.
• Familiarity with conducting operational audits to maintain quality standards.
