Description We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Monroe, Washington. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in supporting the HR department by managing recruitment processes, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment while ensuring smooth HR operations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the entire recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting screenings, and coordinating interviews.
• Develop and publish job postings across various platforms to attract candidates with relevant experience.
• Manage applicant tracking systems and maintain detailed recruitment records.
• Facilitate onboarding activities, including orientation for new team members and completion of necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with training requirements by coordinating sessions and tracking attendance.
• Maintain accurate employee records and monitor attendance for operational teams.
• Assist in ensuring adherence to labor laws and company HR policies.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs and events.
• Provide administrative assistance for performance reviews and employee development plans.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures. Requirements • Experience with HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance and labor laws.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Prior experience conducting background checks and managing onboarding processes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus, especially for document translation tasks. TalentMatch®
