Description

We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will support a regional distribution center by addressing customer needs, managing records, and ensuring smooth coordination with internal teams. Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.

• Process orders, returns, and credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and resolution of customer issues.

• Maintain detailed and organized records of customer interactions and transactions.

• Assist with shipping logistics, including scheduling and tracking shipments.

• Support sales and marketing teams by providing customer insights and feedback.

• Prepare and manage customer quotes, purchase orders, and related documentation.

• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word to perform data entry and correspondence.

• Schedule appointments and manage calendars to optimize team efficiency.

• Ensure a meticulous and courteous experience for all customers.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or call center role.

• Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls with a customer-focused approach.

• Strong skills in data entry and maintaining accurate records.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Ability to manage and coordinate logistics effectively.

• Experience processing orders, quotes, and purchase orders.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
