• Staff Accountant

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Brooklyn, NY)


    Description

    Our client, a rapidly growing CPG company, is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team.

    Responsibilities of this position will include:

    - Overseeing all accounting operations including billing, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable

     

    - Performing account reconciliations

     

    - Supporting general ledger maintenance

     

    - Preparing journal entries and assisting with month end close

     

    - Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

     

    - Assisting with periodic audits by preparing the necessary documents and schedules

     

    - Participating in special projects and ad-hoc requests as required.

    Requirements

    - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related

     

    - 2+ years of experience

     

    - Strong US GAAP knowledge

     

    - Inventory experience required
