Description

We are looking for a fully remote; meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our National client.. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate financial processes, including tenant billing and payment applications. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working with technology to streamline operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process and apply payments, including lockbox transactions, with a high level of accuracy.

• Verify tenant information, property details, and payment amounts to ensure proper allocation.

• Prepare and reconcile monthly lease and rent billings.

• Collaborate with team members using digital tools and platforms to maintain seamless communication.

• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Handle cash applications and collections promptly and efficiently.

• Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on overdue payments.

• Generate detailed reports related to billing and collections for management review.

• Assist in improving workflows and processes related to accounts receivable operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related field.

• Strong skills in account reconciliation and cash applications.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools, Yardi a plus

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.

• Ability to work effectively with multiple systems and communicate through digital platforms.

• Solid understanding of tenant billing and lease agreements.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
