    Description

    We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our data infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in building scalable pipelines, architecting data solutions, and enabling robust analytics capabilities across the business. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with high impact, ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex data challenges in cloud-native environments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data

    + Build and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and real-time data streams

    + Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver clean, well-modeled datasets

    + Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance across the entire pipeline

    + Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices and architectural decisions

    + Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for efficient and secure data operations

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    + 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or backend development

    + Proficiency in SQL and Python (or Scala/Java)

    + Deep experience with modern data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, DBT, Kafka, Spark)

    + Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, GCP Dataflow)

    + Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)

    + Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines for data

    Preferred:

    + Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)

    + Experience with streaming data and event-driven architectures

    + Background in BI tool integration (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau)
