    Description

    We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in the Windsor, Connecticut area. This role involves managing and auditing employee benefits, ensuring accurate claims administration, and supporting payroll-related processes. The position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of employee benefit programs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct audits of employee benefits to ensure compliance and accuracy.

    • Administer claims related to employee benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.

    • Reconcile insurance payments and address discrepancies as needed.

    • Assist employees with benefit enrollment and provide guidance on available options.

    • Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure benefits-related deductions are accurate.

    • Perform regular reviews of active employee benefits and assess eligibility.

    • Work with external vendors, such as insurance providers, to resolve benefit-related issues.

    • Utilize communication tools like Cisco Webex Meetings to coordinate benefit-related discussions.

    • Prepare reports on benefit program utilization and effectiveness.

    • Support audits and reconciliations to maintain data integrity.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience in auditing employee benefits and claims administration.

     

    • Strong knowledge of benefit functions, including medical, dental, and vision plans.

    • Familiarity with payroll processes and benefits-related deductions.

    • Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and vendors.

    • Ability to use tools such as Workforce Now and Cisco Webex Meetings effectively.

    • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical capabilities.

    • Experience working with insurance providers and handling reconciliations.
