Description
Are you a detail-oriented HR professional with a passion for benefits administration and employee relations? Our client, a respected organization in the construction industry, is seeking a Benefits & HR Administrator to join their team. This role combines strong administrative skills with strategic benefits management, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of employees and the organization as a whole.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, 401(k) plans, leave policies, and wellness initiatives, ensuring a seamless enrollment and ongoing support process.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for employees with questions regarding benefits and related policies, providing timely and clear communication.
+ Manage HR documentation and maintain accurate employee records, including compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
+ Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring benefits enrollment is accurate for new hires and properly closed out for departing employees.
+ Provide administrative support for recruitment operations, including scheduling interviews and assisting with job postings when needed.
+ Monitor compliance with industry standards, labor laws, policies, and procedures specific to the construction sector.
+ Coordinate training and development programs, and ensure employees are aware of resources and development opportunities.
+ Execute reports on benefits utilization and employee engagement and suggest improvements based on data insights.
+ Collaborate with department executives to drive HR strategies that support organizational growth and employee satisfaction.
Requirements
+ 3+ years of experience in human resources or benefits administration, ideally within the construction or industrial sectors.
+ Knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
+ In-depth understanding of HR regulations, compliance standards, and reporting requirements.
+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to handle high-volume administrative tasks efficiently.
+ Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on problem-solving and employee satisfaction.
+ Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
