    Description

    Salary - $100-$125K +discretionary bonus.

    Benefits:

    Hours – Monday – Thursday 8:30-530 Fridays 8:30 – 4 pm

     

    PTO year 1 – 10 days year 5 – 15 days and year 10 – 20 days (you will get both the major holidays off and all Jewish holidays) no flex – 2 weeks plus 10-13 Jewish holidays

     

    We are looking for an experienced Property Accountant to join our team in Ocean Twp, New Jersey. This role is ideal for someone with a keen attention to detail and a background in both residential and commercial property accounting. You will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations while contributing to the overall success of the organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurate processing and managing of accounts payable and receivable.

    • Conducting regular bank reconciliations.

    • Generating accurate financial reports.

    • Utilizing Yardi and QuickBooks for property accounting functions.

    • Leveraging your commercial and residential property accounting experience.

    • Making use of various accounting software systems and functions.

    • Undertaking occasional light administrative tasks as needed.

    • Ensuring adherence to accrual accounting and auditing practices.

    • Effectively using Office Suite for various tasks.

    • Acting as a notary when required.nts receivable processes with accuracy and efficiency.

    • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper coding of financial transactions.

    • Prepare and analyze financial reports to support business decision-making.

    • Utilize Yardi and QuickBooks software to maintain accurate accounting records.

    • Handle tasks involving both commercial and residential property accounting.

    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

    • Execute light administrative duties as needed to support the team.

    • Leverage Microsoft Office tools to streamline reporting and documentation.

    • Maintain relevant certifications, such as a Notary, if applicable..

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate will have Yardi experience.
