Description
Robert Half is working with a local company to find a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join their dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in facilitating sales processes and ensuring the team has the administrative and operational support necessary to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing sales reports.
+ Serve as an essential point of contact between the sales team and customers, addressing inquiries and providing information in a timely manner.
+ Process and track sales orders, ensuring accuracy and seamless communication between departments.
+ Assist with preparing sales presentations, proposals, contracts, and customer-facing materials.
+ Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with current and accurate data.
+ Monitor and manage inventory levels for product samples, marketing materials, and other sales-related tools.
+ Support event planning efforts for trade shows, conferences, and other sales-related events.
+ Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations, and finance) to ensure alignment and efficient workflows related to sales activities.
+ Assist in tracking, monitoring, and analyzing sales performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
+ Strong organizational and time management skills to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in order processing, reporting, and communications.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
+ Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative on independent tasks.
