Our client, a dynamic and growing organization in San Diego, CA is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to serve as a key member of their HR team. This role involves playing a pivotal part in supporting HR operations, managing employee relations, and ensuring seamless communication between employees and management. Key Responsibilities
+ Plan and execute the onboarding process for new hires, ensure that all documents are completed, and provide assistance during the offboarding process.
+ Maintain accurate records in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and manage personnel files to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
+ Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and human resource initiatives.
+ Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, tracking applicants, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
+ Assist in communicating and enforcing HR policies and procedures, ensuring that company operations remain compliant with regulations.
+ Prepare HR reports on metrics such as turnover, time-to-fill, and employee satisfaction for leadership review.
+ Plan employee-related events such as health and wellness programs, training, career development sessions, and team-building activities.
Requirements
+ 2+ years in an HR-related support role; experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments is highly valued.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
+ Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, BambooHR), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other HR-related tools.
+ Familiarity with employment laws, wage regulations, and HR compliance best practices.
+ Strong verbal and written communication. Ability to handle sensitive issues confidentially and professionally.
+ Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
+ A collaborative and team-oriented individual who fosters positive workplace culture.
+ SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or other HR certifications.
