Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join a well-established law firm in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting a senior litigation partner, handling discovery processes, trial preparation, and other key legal functions. This hybrid position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex cases and contribute to the firm's success.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the senior litigation partner to manage case files and oversee critical legal processes.

• Handle discovery tasks, including document review, organization, and production.

• Prepare trial materials such as exhibits, briefs, and witness lists to ensure readiness.

• Maintain and manage calendars for hearings, deadlines, and meetings.

• Draft and file legal documents, including complaints and motions, with precision and attention to detail.

• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel to facilitate smooth case progression.

• Utilize software tools to streamline case management.

• Monitor and meet billable hour targets while maintaining high-quality work.

• Assist with bankruptcy-related cases when applicable, leveraging relevant experience.

• Ensure compliance with court procedures and filing requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on discovery and trial preparation.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with clients and legal teams.

• Proven ability to draft and file legal documents with accuracy and efficiency.

• Experience with calendar management and scheduling in a legal environment.

• Familiarity with bankruptcy cases is a plus.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting.
