Are you an up-and-coming accounting professional looking to make your mark in the finance world? Robert Half is partnering with a growing organization in search of a talented Junior Accountant for a contract-to-hire position. As a Junior Accountant, you’ll assist with a variety of accounting tasks that are vital to the organization’s financial operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about growing their expertise in accounting practices. You’ll work closely with a supportive team to ensure financial integrity and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice entry, payment tracking, and resolving discrepancies

+ Perform general ledger maintenance and assist with account reconciliations

+ Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

+ Support month-end and year-end close processes

+ Review financial data for accuracy and identify opportunities to streamline processes

+ Respond to inquiries related to accounting transactions and analysis

Requirements

+ At least 1-2 years of accounting experience, including exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger work

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)

+ Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
