Description
Our client, a growing organization in San Diego, CA is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join their team. This role is perfect for someone looking to develop their career in human resources and gain valuable experience supporting various HR functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Assist with day-to-day administrative duties, including filing, data entry, scheduling interviews, and managing correspondence.
+ Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including organizing orientation materials and tracking paperwork.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and human resources databases, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
+ Provide support during recruitment by posting job openings, screening resumes, and facilitating communication with candidates.
+ Assist employees with enrollment in benefits programs and address basic inquiries about benefits options.
+ Help plan and execute employee engagement events and training sessions, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively.
+ Support Human Resource Managers in delivering updated policies to employees and tracking receipt confirmations.
Requirements
+ 1-2 years of administrative experience, ideally in human resources or a related role.
+ High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
+ Familiarity with HRIS systems, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and comfort with data entry and reporting.
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; exceptional organizational abilities; and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented HR environment, contributing to shared goals.
+ Basic understanding of employment laws and confidentiality requirements.
