    Description

    Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage and maintain day-to-day financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

    + Process and track accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including vendor payments and customer invoices.

    + Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations monthly or as needed.

    + Handle payroll processing, tax filings, and employee expense reimbursements.

    + Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss (P& L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.

    + Manage budgets and ensure expenses align with organizational goals.

    + Assist with audit preparations and provide required financial documentation.

    + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to financial reporting and taxation.

    Requirements

    + 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience; experience with small- to medium-sized businesses is a plus.

    + Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred but not required. Certifications such as CPB (Certified Professional Bookkeeper) are a plus.

    + Proficiency in accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage; strong Microsoft Excel skills required.

    + Ability to detect and resolve discrepancies while maintaining accurate financial records.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with vendors, clients, and team members.

    + Proactive approach to identifying issues and offering practical solutions.
