    Description

    Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Benefits & HR Administrator to oversee the administration of employee benefits programs and provide general Human Resources support. This vital position ensures that our employees receive accurate information about their benefits, helps maintain compliance with employment laws, and contributes to creating a supportive workplace environment.     Key Responsibilities

    + Administer and communicate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, and wellness initiatives.

    + Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and questions, ensuring a positive employee experience.

    + Manage benefit-related data in the HRIS and track key deadlines (e.g., open enrollment periods or dependent audits).

    + Collaborate with benefits vendors to resolve employee claims or technical issues.

    + Partner with payroll teams to ensure timely and accurate benefit deductions.

    + Coordinate with HR and Finance to address discrepancies in payroll data related to benefits.

    + Maintain compliance with employment regulations, including ACA, COBRA, FMLA, and HIPAA.

    + Ensure proper documentation for workers’ compensation claims, leave of absence cases, and other compliance-related topics.

    + Assist the HR team with onboarding tasks, including preparing materials and presenting benefits information to new hires.

    + Maintain employee files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies and regulations.

    + Provide general HR support by responding to employee inquiries and escalating issues as needed.

    + Generate regular reports on benefits utilization, employee participation rates, and associated costs.

    + Use HR analytics to offer actionable insights to the HR manager and leadership team.

    Requirements

    + 2+ years of experience in benefits management, HR administration, or a related role.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

    + Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, or SAP) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

    + In-depth knowledge of benefits processes and regulations, including compliance with COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, and other laws.

    + High attention to detail; excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills; and strong interpersonal abilities for employee interaction.

    + CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist), PHR (Professional in Human Resources), or SHRM-CP (SHRM Certified Professional).
