    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of accounting records. This position is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in reconciliation, ledger management, and financial systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

    • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

    • Oversee bank reconciliation processes to maintain accurate cash flow records.

    • Manage and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded.

    • Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process.

    • Utilize financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline accounting operations.

    • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.

    • Analyze financial data to identify trends or issues that require attention.

    • Support audits by providing documentation and explanations for financial transactions. Requirements • Proven experience in account reconciliation, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

    • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation.

    • Proficiency in financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with complex formulas and data analysis.

    • Solid understanding of month-end close processes and related reporting requirements.

    • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
