Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering the opportunity to manage key financial operations while contributing to the overall success of our organization. The ideal candidate will bring leadership and precision to our accounting processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial activities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.

• Prepare accurate financial statements and comprehensive management reports using QuickBooks Desktop.

• Ensure financial compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.

• Conduct periodic audits to validate the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

• Develop and implement robust accounting policies and procedures for improved efficiency.

• Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all journal entries and adjustments are completed accurately.

• Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial data.

• Utilize advanced Excel formulas to analyze and present financial information effectively. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with wholesale distribution experience considered a plus.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting account reconciliations.

• Demonstrated expertise in month-end close processes and journal entry preparation.
