Description We are looking for a skilled Litigation Associate to join our team in Sacramento, California. The ideal candidate will bring two to four years of comprehensive litigation experience, including drafting dispositive motions, managing discovery processes, and conducting in-depth legal research and analysis. This role offers a hybrid schedule after 90 days, providing a balance between in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and argue dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment and other pre-trial motions.

• Conduct and manage discovery processes, including drafting discovery requests and responses, and handling document productions.

• Perform thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide informed recommendations.

• Represent clients in court proceedings and depositions, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.

• Communicate with clients to provide updates, discuss case developments, and address concerns.

• Review and analyze case documents, contracts, and other legal materials to build strong cases.

• Negotiate settlements and work towards resolving disputes efficiently while safeguarding client interests.

• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact ongoing and future cases.

• Contribute to a collaborative team environment, sharing insights and assisting colleagues as needed. Requirements • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active license to practice law in the state of California.

• Two to four years of substantive litigation experience, including handling dispositive motions and discovery processes.

• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, for effective client interaction and courtroom advocacy.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in complex business litigation is highly desirable.

• Commitment to maintaining professionalism and a client-focused approach.
