    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    * Directly and indirectly lead a team managing all activities associated with Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Toll Manufacturing, Distribution, Customer Service and Commercialization, Quality and Safety.

    * Develop partnerships with customers and suppliers - internal and external, local and global.

    * Lead and improve business critical processes such as Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Product Commercialization, and Manufacturing and Quality performance systems.

    * Assess existing supply chain and manufacturing capabilities and create / drive the vision for innovative supply systems, distribution systems, and electronic tools to ensure flexible supply to both internal and external customers.

    * Develop, implement, and evaluate supply strategies involving raw materials, intermediates, packaging, and, finished goods inventories in order to maximize returns for all stakeholders.

    * Direct the Supply Chain and Manufacturing team"s financial and budget activities including cost center management, CoGM, CoGS, Capex, and Distribution

    * Ensure compliance to internal and external regulations.

    * Develop team member skills, provide opportunities for personal and professional team member development, and ensure succession plans are maintained.

    * Develop and review performance metrics to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas of improvement.

    * As a member of the Product Supply Leadership Team the incumbent will co-create group strategy and processes and ultimately help pilot the whole organization to outstanding success.

    KEY WORKING RELATIONS:

    * Internal: Strategic Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Human Resources, Canada, Global and Regional Product Supply teams

    * External: Key Suppliers (eg. Material Suppliers, Toll Manufacturing, etc)

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    * Bachelor"s degree in Supply Chain & Logistics with preference for Master"s degree or MBA.

    * Minimum of 12-15 years of business, supply chain, and managerial experience. High preference for agricultural/crop science or tier 1 automotive background.

    * APICS CSCP or CPIM equivalent highly preferred.

    * Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, IT systems, quality control, costs, material flow, manufacturing, logistics, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of Goods

    * Knowledge of business and management principles specifically: strategic planning, resource management, leadership, manufacturing, and understanding of US regulatory environment

    * Fluent in financial / accounting principles and practices (eg. Income statement, cost center, profit center)
