Description We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead and optimize our organization's technology systems and services. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage IT operations, drive innovation, and ensure the reliability and security of infrastructure to support business goals. Based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, this position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of IT within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement long-term strategies for IT infrastructure and operations that align with organizational goals.
• Supervise the maintenance and performance of servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud platforms.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including system and network administrators.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and availability of IT systems to support business continuity.
• Monitor IT operations proactively, resolving technical issues efficiently and minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with security, development, and business teams to ensure infrastructure meets organizational needs.
• Partner with IT architects to identify and migrate on-premise applications and data to cloud-based solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement of IT services, hardware, and software.
• Establish and maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies, ensuring rapid recovery during disruptions.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends, driving innovation in IT operations and infrastructure. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a related field.
• Proficiency in Cisco technologies, cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure), and enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM.
• Strong knowledge of backup technologies, disaster recovery planning, and risk management.
• Experience with configuration management tools and active directory administration.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic IT roadmaps and cloud strategies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentoring and collaboration.
• Familiarity with technical documentation and support processes to ensure operational efficiency.
