Description

We are working with an established civil litigation firm looking for an experienced Paralegal to join their team on a long-term contract basis. The firm is prepping for trial and needs a strong paralegal to assist. This is a remote role, but requires candidates with strong AZ legal experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize case files, including the collection, review, and summarization of medical records and other legal documents.

• Read, summarize, and draft reports for managing attorney.

• Bates Stamping.

• Manage subpoenas and records release processes.

• Coordinate with experts and schedule Independent Medical Examinations,

• Utilize software such as Word and Dropbox for case management, document storage, and collaborative tasks.

• Maintain accurate billing records.

• Conduct thorough document reviews.

• Support trial preparation, including briefing, claim administration, and exhibits.

• Understanding of the rules of HIPAA.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Paralegal, with a strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology.

• Trial preparation experience.

• Excellent skills in drafting pleadings, preparing disclosures, and conducting document reviews.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

• Knowledge of billing procedures to accurately log hours and support reimbursement processes.
