    As a Collections Specialist your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Conduct thorough internal and external searches to gather client information essential to the collections process.

    • Address customer inquiries and escalate billing disputes or complaints to management as needed.

    • Adhere to established company policies and procedures for collections to ensure compliance.

    • Prepare and submit regular reports detailing the status of outstanding accounts and repayment progress.

    • Generate ad hoc reports and assist with additional tasks as assigned by the Controller.

    • Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and streamline collection activities.

    • Utilize accounting software and CRM tools to track and manage accounts receivable efficiently.

    • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a detail-oriented demeanor in all client interactions.

    Requirements

    The ideal Collections Specialist candidate will have:

    • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in collections, preferably in a law firm or a services environment requiring attention to detail.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    • Proven customer service skills with a focus on resolving issues effectively.

    • Familiarity with accounting software, CRM systems, and other collections tools is a plus.
