Description
IT Purchasing and Operations Specialist
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Looking for a detail-oriented professional with a background in administrative and sales support tasks. If you have a background in the IT services industry that is highly preferred. You’ll handle purchasing, documentation, and operational responsibilities, helping ensure smooth IT service delivery. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and proven expertise in sales support functions.
What You'll Do:
+ Respond to customer inquiries about IT product purchases (hardware/software).
+ Prepare and deliver sales quotes and invoices promptly.
+ Collaborate with vendors and partners to source and price products.
+ Coordinate IT service requests and maintain a high standard of client satisfaction.
+ Oversee help desk ticket queues to ensure efficient resolution and escalation.
+ Produce client-facing reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
+ Train team members on organizational processes and refine procedures as needed.
+ Support Operations Management in driving continuous service delivery improvements.
+ Manage ticket requests and generate quotes for customers.
+ Process approvals via DocuSign and oversee product procurement.
+ Issue invoices and supplier POs, managing the overall product sales lifecycle.
+ Field tickets and incoming client calls, directing them to the proper team for response.
+ Assign helpdesk tickets to the correct escalation groups and confirm their resolution.
+ Assemble weekly and monthly customer reports.
+ Generate data for billing, payments, and submissions to supply vendors.
+ Consistently handle routine documentation with attention to accuracy and deadlines
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
+ At least 3+ years of experience in administrative roles, sales support, or IT purchasing.
+ Customer service experience (preferably in IT services) is a strong plus.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
+ Familiarity with IT purchasing
+ Experience using ticketing systems is preferred.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking skills.
+ Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication abilities.
+ Ability to work productively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
