Description
Our client is looking to bring on a driven and experienced Senior Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you’ll contribute to the success of the HR department by providing higher-level administrative support, coordinating HR projects, and addressing employee matters—all while ensuring day-to-day operations truly run smoothly. This position is designed for professionals with previous HR experience who want to take on a leadership-support role within the HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide advanced administrative support to HR managers, supervisors, and other senior HR personnel.
+ Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, leaves of absence, and compliance matters.
+ Ensure HR files and documentation (including I-9s, hiring forms, and personnel records) comply with company policies and legal regulatory requirements.
+ Help with more complex recruitment tasks, such as scheduling executive-level interviews, drafting offer letters, and monitoring recruitment metrics.
+ Take ownership of onboarding employees, delivering more detailed training sessions, and fostering a strong introduction to company culture.
+ Plan HR-related events, such as training seminars, wellness programs, or diversity and inclusion initiatives.
+ Compile, analyze, and review HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, employee engagement surveys) to share actionable insights with leadership.
+ Help maintain HRIS systems, update employee data, troubleshoot system issues, and generate reports.
+ Support or lead HR projects, such as helping develop new programs, policies, and compliance initiatives
Requirements
+ 2–3 years of HR-focused experience, preferably in roles with administrative or coordinator-level responsibilities.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, but highly experienced candidates will be considered.
+ Proficient in HRIS tools (e.g., Workday, BambooHR), and familiar with advanced Excel functionalities (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookup).
+ Understanding of U.S. employment regulations, including EEO, FMLA, ADA, and other workplace compliance standards.
+ Strong organizational capabilities and advanced written/verbal communication skills for employee-facing roles.
+ Ability to anticipate challenges, resolve issues independently, and handle sensitive employee matters confidentially.
+ SHRM-CP or PHR certifications are a bonus and reflect advanced HR competencies.
