    Description Project Manager – Stewardship Specialist Location: Dallas, TX 75202 (Hybrid Schedule) Duration: 3–6 Month Contract Schedule: 40 hours/week, Hybrid (3 days onsite)

     

    We are seeking a Project Manager – Stewardship Specialist with strong nonprofit fundraising and donor relations experience to support a mission-driven organization through a 3–6 month contract engagement. Based in downtown Dallas, this hybrid role focuses on ensuring timely, accurate, and personalized donor acknowledgements and supporting executive-level stewardship communications with exceptional attention to detail.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Donor Acknowledgements & Stewardship (Primary Focus): Run daily acknowledgement reports to identify gifts requiring thank-you communications Review donor and gift details for accuracy; research and update missing or incorrect contact information in the CRM Ensure every donor—across thousands of gifts per month—receives a timely and personalized acknowledgement Prepare CEO-level acknowledgements for major donors, including Tocqueville Society members: Compile gift detail and donor history sheets for Leadership Giving review Submit acknowledgement packets to the CEO weekly and upload signed letters to donor records Steward board members and high-level donors with exceptional care and precision Project Management & Communication: Oversee and manage donor touchpoints, tiered communications, and acknowledgment workflows in the CRM Coordinate cross-functional activities and deadlines across multiple departments and partners Maintain project plans, timelines, and workflows using tools like Asana Track and deliver on critical deadlines for executive and high-priority communications Support data reporting and analysis using Microsoft Excel and Power BI (preferred) Requirements Project Manager – Stewardship Specialist

     

    •Top 3 Must-Haves: 3+ years of experience in nonprofit development, donor relations, or fundraising Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft and tailor acknowledgments on behalf of executive leadership Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Excel (sorting/filtering, formulas), and ideally Power BI Preferred Experience: Background in donor stewardship or campaign coordination roles Experience managing large volumes of acknowledgements and high-touch donor correspondence Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools Detail-oriented, highly organized, and deadline-driven This role is ideal for a detail-driven, proactive detail oriented who understands the importance of high-quality donor stewardship and enjoys working collaboratively to make a meaningful impact.
