Description
We are looking for an experienced PART TIME Sr. HRIS Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In this role, you will provide critical systems support for Human Resources functions, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and payroll. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to improve HR system efficiency, ensure seamless integration, and support data-related processes.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical and strategic support for HR systems, including troubleshooting issues and resolving unexpected process flaws.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and leadership teams to enhance system functionality and implement best practices.
• Lead testing efforts for system updates and patches to ensure smooth operation and minimal disruption.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation and user guidelines to promote consistency across HR operations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on HRIS systems, offering insights and solutions for process optimization.
• Create and manage robust reporting tools, including ad hoc reports, to meet business needs and enhance decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for system and process improvements, recommending and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Train HR staff on new system functionalities and updates to ensure proper adoption and usage.
• Manage HRIS-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
• Support data integrity and security through effective database management and audits.
Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting HR functions, with at least 3 years working with HRIS systems like UKG Pro or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of HR concepts and processes, including benefits, payroll, and performance management.
• Advanced skills in database management, reporting, and running complex queries.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems and think critically to anticipate potential challenges.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Familiarity with basic programming and experience designing complex reports is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of HR regulatory requirements and best practices in data management and reporting.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
