    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Turlock, California, within the manufacturing industry. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position that requires a highly detail-oriented individual to manage financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will excel in maintaining accurate accounts and supporting payroll and bookkeeping functions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

    • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions promptly and accurately.

    • Conduct bank reconciliations to align financial statements with actual balances.

    • Utilize QuickBooks to manage bookkeeping operations and prepare financial reports.

    • Handle payroll processing, including compliance with the Davis Bacon Act and prevailing wage requirements.

    • Assist with month-end closing procedures to finalize financial statements.

    • Enter data efficiently and ensure all financial information is correctly recorded.

    • Support financial audits and provide necessary documentation when requested.

    • Maintain organized records for all transactions and financial activities.

    • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and ensure compliance with regulations.

    Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management.

     

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

    • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes.

    • Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

    • Understanding of payroll procedures, including prevailing wage and Davis Bacon Act compliance.

    • Ability to manage month-end closing activities efficiently.

    • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.

    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
