    Description

    We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a long-term contract opportunity where you will provide Cloud Systems Administration support as well as help manage the active directory and server environment.

     

    Title: System Administrator

     

    Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire

     

    Pay: $50-60 per hour

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide Level 3 Infrastructure & Cloud Support: Resolve complex technical issues across servers, storage, virtualization, networking, and core AWS cloud services.

    + Troubleshoot & Optimize Core Systems: Diagnose problems in Office 365 hybrid setups, Active Directory, endpoint management, and AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC).

    + Offer Expert Technical Consultation: Guide teams on infrastructure and cloud best practices, architecture, and operational stability.

    + Manage Industry-Specific Applications: Ensure high availability and performance for oil & gas software, whether on-premises or in AWS.

    + Maintain Hybrid Storage Systems: Oversee on-premises storage (SAN, NAS) and AWS cloud storage (S3, EBS, EFS, Glacier) for data integrity and backups.

    + Automate Infrastructure & Cloud Processes: Streamline operations across on-premises and AWS through automation and configuration management.

    + Lead SCADA, OT, & IoT Cloud Integration: Provide technical assistance for integrating and securing industrial control systems within hybrid environments.

    + Document Infrastructure & Cloud Systems: Create detailed documentation for configurations, architectures, procedures, and security baselines.

    + Evaluate & Implement New Technologies: Research and apply emerging hardware, software, and AWS services to enhance IT delivery.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience providing support for network and systems related issues

    • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues with AWS, Office 365, Intune, and Active Directory.

    • MUST HAVE Strong knowledge of Intune including security and policy updates

    • Familiarity with cloud storage platforms, such as AWS, and their application in a business setting.

    • Experience working with oil and gas industry-specific software is highly desirable.

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executives and technical staff.

    • Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, systems, and processes.
