Description

Robert Half's marketing & creative client is looking for an Art Director for a 6+ month contract in Boston. This is a hybrid, 40-hour-per-week opportunity; candidates must be willing and able to work onsite 2 days per week. The Art Director will conceptualize and execute on design assets that engage a variety of audiences across digital and traditional ad channels. The ideal candidate is both a visionary and hands-on creator with a deep understanding of design trends, visual storytelling, and audience engagement strategies. Interested candidates should submit a portfolio of relevant design samples in addition to resume. The Art Director will also drive motion and static social media design strategy in order to target new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Collaborate with key stakeholders to design branding assets for a variety of audiences

+ Oversee motion graphic, video, and static social media design content for B2C campaigns

+ Stay informed on up-to-date social media tends

+ Maintain brand across all channels

+ Create B2B materials including marketing collateral, presentations, reports, etc.

Requirements

+ Degree in design, marketing, or related

+ 5+ years of design and art direction experience

+ Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills

+ Experience with motion graphics and video editing for social content

+ Portfolio of relevant design samples

+ Experience developing engaging content for a variety of audiences

+ Prior experience overseeing design and brand strategy

+ Knowledge of current social media and design trends

+ Familiarity designing for both B2C and B2B audiences

+ Excellent communication and project management skills

+ Familiarity designing for non-profit or education industries a plus

+ Prior team leadership experience a plus
