    *Please take note of the following qualifications and requirements:*

    *Minimum Education*

    * A High School diploma or GED equivalent is required

    * Graduated from an approved EMT Paramedic program

    *Certifications*

    * North Carolina Certified Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (EMT-P)

    * Basic Life Support (BLS) from the AHA upon hire

    * Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 90 days of hire is required.

    * Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) obtained within 90 days of hire is preferred.

    * Good communication skills, computer skills, and the ability to work with others as a team to ensure quality patient care

    *Minimum Work Experience*

    * A minimum of two years of pre-hospital paramedic experience is preferred
