As a Sr. Technologist, you will be part of our global and regional think tank teams, responsible for leading the development and deployment of intelligent transportation solutions, including traffic management systems, connected vehicle technologies, and smart infrastructure. You will be involved in serving our clients with enhanced mobility and safety solutions through innovative technology.
In this role you’ll drive client outreach strategies and relationship development actions, identify and support key pursuits and positioning and delivery efforts. Your knowledge of the market trends and needs of various clients, while leveraging the global talent and toolkit we have at Jacobs will be key to your success. Location:
• Hybrid - two to three days a week in the Austin and/or any Jacobs office as travel requires.
Other Aspects of this Position:
* You'll integrate with our local, regional and global teams who are committed to growing our professional services portfolio in not just Texas, but across many of our other ten states that make up the West Central Geography.
* You'll build upon your understanding of our current offerings to our clients and organize and develop teams to pursue and deliver innovative solutions that will enhance and add to revenue growth in the region.
* You’ll lead some of our transportation initiatives around technology integration into services we offer our clients, while working in a principal or advisory role on transportation systems projects and connected/autonomous vehicle efforts.
* You’ll lead and support strategic business development, forging partnerships, and expanding Jacobs’ influence in the transportation sector. You'll be a key part of building strategic win-win relationships with other consulting firms and contractors as partners.

* You'll have the opportunities to engage with planning and design professionals through our internal technical and social communities to help you grow your sales and business development skill sets, engage with peers and mentors, and gain awareness of our global technology and project delivery platforms.
* As you grow in this position, you will have opportunities to work on procurements and delivery of existing projects across Jacobs where we will leverage your expertise with Intelligent Transportation systems and find ways to expand our marketshare in this space.
* BA/BS degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
* Professional Engineering (P.E.) license
* At least 15 years of management and delivery experience; developing and leading teams.
* Experience developing strategies for growth including brand development; and a successful track record of guiding proposals to a successful outcome.
