    TITLE: Commercial Services Associate

     

    REPORTS TO: Vice President – Commercial Services

     

    CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non Exempt

     

    PAY GRADE: NE 35 ($21.00 - $32.60 per hour)

     

    AVAILABILITY: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

    Position Summary:

    Provides administrative and customer support in the accurate and efficient processing, monitoring and servicing of commercial loans.

    Essential Job Functions:

    + Provides a high level of customer service to both external and internal customers.

    + Maintains operational integration of new lending products within the existing work environment, including updating Horizon and transaction processing.

    + Continuously works to streamline processes and procedures while maintaining a high level of quality control and compliance.

    + Embraces new and existing technology to champion innovation. Writes and utilizes system queries to assist in the analysis of all loan products as well as for reporting purposes.

    + Updates, maintains, proofs and balances general ledger accounts. Recognizes present and potential irregularities while working in cooperation with the VP - Commercial Services and Commercial Loan Officers to ensure clear communication and a seamless execution of loan transactions.

    + Prepares and reviews legal documents for loan closings.

    + Process new loan onboarding and Horizon transactions.

    + Completes post-closing review of Commercial Loans, verification of input, perfection of security interests, loan payoffs, etc.

    + Prepares files for scanning, scans, verifies scans.

    + Prepares files for storage.

    Education & Experience:

    + High School or GED required.

    + Five years’ banking experience required.

    + Ability to travel to seminars and classes in order to expand job knowledge.

    + Strong computer system knowledge, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, E-mail, and Internet Software.
