Responsibilities
+ Formulates positions and draft regulatory filings to support advocacy efforts
+ Collaborates with legal team to ensure all compliance with regulatory obligations
+ Collaborates with various internal and external parties to ensure compliance with the rules set forth by the various regulatory organizations
+ Shares insights from collaborating with Retail business and Government Affairs team to define advocacy strategies and outreach plans
+ Monitors, investigates, and reviews compliance evidence in support of compliance activities
+ Provides regulatory guidance on a variety of key growth initiatives including MandA efforts
+ Identifies and participates in industry associations that may be valuable to the company
+ Monitors and participates in regulatory proceedings and governmental matters, and ensure company compliance with regulations and filings
+ Participates in conducting audit reviews to ensure that the company stays compliant with the policies and standards enforced by relevant agencies
+ A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Five or more years of experience with regulatory filings/proceedings and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree or higher in a field ideally related to energy policy (science, economics, environmental, business, etc.)
+ Two or more years of experience in energy or utility policy
+ One or more years of experience as a policy advocate
Additional Information
+ This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

+ Position will require up to 30% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
